Claribelle Geelhoed (Green, Dickinson)

passed away into her Savior's arms in the early morning hours of March 9, 2019. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Claribelle loved being involved where there was fun, music, fishing, cooking, baking and entertaining others. She was faithful in praying and reading her devotions daily and would encourage others to do the same. Claribelle was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin Green in 2004 and her second husband, Raymond Geelhoed on December 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, and her in-laws. She is survived by her children Larry (Joy) Green, Debrah (Calvin) Tubergen, and Barbara (Doug) Wood; grandchildren Dan (Holly), Jeff (Sara), Lynn (Kurt James), Calvin, Jon and Joanne, Julie, Amy and Ron; great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Connor, Rachel, Ashley, Jacob, Kate and Zach. Claribelle loved them all and was proud of them. She was a member of Grandville Bible Church where she attended until recent years due to illness. Funeral services were held at 1PM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Grandville Bible Church, 4122 - 44th St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Burial took place at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding, MI. Rev. Doug Wood officiated. The family would like to thank Sheldon Meadows for their care and services while she resided there. She fully enjoyed her time there and considered it home. Also, thank you to Spectrum Health Hospice who showed compassionate care during her final weeks. They truly have an amazing calling in caring for others. Thank you to our friends and families who showed care, love and concern during this time. We love you all! In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Spectrum Health Hospice.
