Debbie was taken home to the Lord on 10/26/2021 from a long battle with COPD. she was born on 10/10/1956 to Lewis & Donna Lapham McCoy, who were there to greet her into heaven. Debbie went to school in Sunfield & Ionia Mi. where she made many longtime friends.

Debbie went on to get her CNA license, she loved and cared for the elderly. She moved to New Orleans, LA. she worked in hospitals doing the same work for the patients. Debbie loved to ride her " Hardly Davison" which was really a pink Honda that she named Pinky. She traveled many miles with her sister Vic and nephews, Also the motorcycle club The Pink Stilletto's, she went miles with the group of ladies. Debbie left behind her children to cherish memories.Lewis(Missy) Powell, her grandchildren Mercedez &, and Justin Sorenson. Keirsten &Nevaeh Powell and great-granddaughter Paisley.

Laurie Powell of New Orleans, LA, her grandchildren Andrew, Jacob, Chelcie Powell. Karen Powell of Ostego Ii. Her grandchildren Tylor, Logan Kelly of Greenville Mi. Mathew Collins and her granddaughter Autumn Collins, who she cared for and was the light of her life. Her siblings John (RuthAnn) McCoy of South Carolina, Vic McCoy Martin, Terry McCoy, Randy (Sue) McCoy all of Ionia Mi, several nieces and nephews. Debbies favorite poem is "Footprints" in the Sand. She knew her Lord has been right beside her every step she took.
